what happened to the urban plot? This question occurs not only in research papers but in every citizens' mind when they live and share their life experience with their community. In every moment, the development of our life is tightly bounded up with the growth of the city. The goal of this workshop is to introduce this use of artificial intelligence, especially the use of generative adversarial network (GAN) , in urban growth analysis. Based on data collected from sites and satellites, the method could restore the historical feature of the landscape as well as predict the future urban development style in a specific area. Through the process, participants could acquire basic programming knowledge and understand how machine learning integrates with design process in real design industry scenes.
