Differential Growth Structures is a computational design workshop using Rhinoceros3d-Grasshopper3d-HoudiniFX.
The workshop’s content will introduce different methodologies to explore digital morphologies which will be enacted by the medium of computation and parametric design. Participants will be exposed to an atmosphere of experimentation on the potential of generative and behavioral systems. During the workshop participants will explore the interrogability between Rhino and Houdini. Starting with generative simulations in Houdini, ending up importing complex geometries in Rhino for further detailing and simulations. This workshop intended for designers, architects, students of Architecture and Urbanism, product designers, artists and everyone who’s interested in computational design techniques.
