Intelligent Form : Intelligent Formation
Computational Design | Online Workshop | English + Bangla | Asia-Pacific
Description:
Key Words: performative,Intelligent,Form Formation ,logical Form
Required Skills: Introduction to Rhino
Required Software: Rhino 7
Required Hardware: Laptop/Desktop for Individual Participant
Maximum number of participating students: 15
In recent years there has been an increasing emphasis on the intelligent computational techniques in architectural culture, organized to make our designs ever more performatively intelligent. Nowadays a valid question arises whether the given software for these computational design techniques is a ‘slave’ or ‘partner’. The workshop would focus on the possibilities of generating new logical forms rather than what we trained to see the world before.
The workshop will try to introduce and explore ‘Grasshopper’ for finding thousands of new forms for the participants. They may evaluate those forms through the performance of environment, time, light etc. The participants will unleash the algorithm- it will give them possibilities-they will select and discover new forms of architecture. Searching for Intelligent and logical ‘form formation’ and ‘generation’ would be a new playground for the workshop attendees.
